Ripe apple is the dominant character, with hints of melon; layers of vanilla from the barrel fermentation fill the mid palette.  Plump mouth fill, and rounded acids lends to a clean lengthy finish.

 

VIDAL BLANC                                                                                             $13.00

The 2004 Lover’s Leap Vidal Blanc opens amid aromas of fresh citrus and grapefruit. The flavors are clean and crisp, exhibiting apple, grapefruit, and elderflower. This medium-bodied Vidal Blanc has a refreshing mouth feel that leads to a long, crisp finish.

 

BIANCA                                                                                                         $14.00

White berries and floral notes lend to the melon and citrus fruit. The crisp finish makes this a perfect wine to serve with cream sauces, chicken, and well seasoned fish.

 

GEWÜRZTRAMINER                                                                                 $13.00

Bright, sweet aromas with overtones of spice make this a truly stunning wine. Melon, berry fruit and spice lend to its amazing complexity and interest.

 

RIESLING                                                                                                     $14.00

A long cold fermentation was used to highlight the varietals characteristics of this special wine.  Apricot, melon, and hits of lemon grass fill the palette.  A delicate wine which finishes clean and crisp with hints of spice.

 

AMORE’ WHITE                                                                                         $11.00

Semi-sweet white blend of hybrid/American grapes.  This is the first wine Lovers Leap produced and still one of our most popular.

 

PREMIERA                                                                                                   $12.00

REDS

 

NORTON                                                                                                       $17.50

The press yields were low giving a dense jammy wine.  Aged in a combination of French and American oak.  It has developed a range of depth and complexity.  Hints of spice are enveloped by the rich jammy fruit.

 

CABERNET SAUVIGNON                                                                         $15.50

Dry full-bodied red, intense berry aroma with earthy & chocolate notes.

 

MERLOT                                                                                                       $15.50

Aged 100% in French oak, this Merlot is plumy with layers of ripe red berries. Vanillans from the French oak polish the fine grain

tannins. Drink now or age.

 

DESIRED                                                                                                      $11.50

Jammy cherry and raspberry are layered with hints of oak.  Soft fine grain tannin gives structure to this passionate wine.

 

AMORE’                                                                                                        $12.00

A Lambrusco wine filled with a robust berry that has made it famous throughout the East.  This sweet red has a distinct Concord flavor without the strong foxy character.

 

BLACKBERRY (Dessert Wine)                                                                  $15.50

Rich, expressive, filled with sweet intensity of ripe fruit.  A beautiful dessert on its own.  Great after dinner or with chocolates or savories.
